Despite putting in a below-par run only a week ago in the hands of jockey Dashrath Singh who got a chance ride on Multiglory trained by SK Sunderji when jockey Sandesh was indisposed, the five-year-old gelding will be the most in demand for the H R Shantidas Trophy, the feature event of Saturday's eight-race evening card to be run at the Mahalaxmi racetrack.
With a switch to the leading rider, Trevor Patel, Multiglory will be hard to down over the 2,000m trip; and Raees and Sabiq, who have won three and two races respectively this season, may be left fighting for the solitary minor place. If offered at decent odds, Multiglory shapes as a fairly good chance bet.
