Mahesh Bhupathi&rsquo;s Bollywood star wife uses his Grand Slam towels to plug gaps in doors to keep out water as heavy rains lash city
Former Miss Universe and wife of India tennis ace Mahesh Bhupathi, Lara Dutta did what probably most of us would do to protect her home from Mumbai&rsquo;s lashing rains yesterday.
She plugged the gaps near the window/door frames with cloth to prevent water from seeping in. But ironically, she used some of Mahesh&rsquo;s precious towels for the same. Lara posted the above picture on social media yesterday with a series of towels lining the bottom of her windows.
"Putting our Wimbledon, US Open,Aus Open &amp; French Open towels to good use! @Maheshbhupathi #MumbaiRain. Stay safe &amp; indoors if possible folks," she wrote to her 3.2 million Twitter followers.
No prizes for guessing who reacted first. Mahesh, 43, immediately reposted her message and replied: "Are u kidding me!!!! That&rsquo;s years of hard work."
Let's hope Lara, 39, removed those pieces, at least for Mahesh&rsquo;s sake, no?
