World No 4 Andy Murray whose match against Marin Cilic of Croatia was halted on Monday, beat his Croatian opponent in straight sets 7-5, 6-2, 6-3 to reach his fifth successive Wimbledon quarter-final where he will meet Spain’s David Ferrer.

Murray, who was troubled in the opening set by Cilic, picked up momentum at the right time, much to the delight of tennis lovers here. The rain delays didn’t help though.
