It was announced during NBA Commissioner David Stern&#39;s trip to Mumbai in April. He would also be integrated into various TV programmes of Sony Six channel, the official broadcast partner of the basketball league in India. During his stay, Bosh would also interact with winners of various digital and social media promotions, besides helping launch NBA India&#39;s first-ever Instagram account with photos from his trip, the release said. The star hoopster would also attend high-profile local sports and cultural events and take a city tour, the release added.

NBA star Chris Bosh, currently representing defending champions Miami Heat in the basketball league's ongoing finals against San Antonio Spurs, is to visit India next month to conduct a series of events to popularise the hoop game and NBA's fan base in India.
