The Neeraj Chopra Classic 2025 is all set to kick off in Bengaluru. Sree Kanteerava Stadium will host India's first-ever international javelin event on July 5

The event, which is co-organised by two-time Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra and JSW Sports, will also help Indian athletics take a step forward.


With the javelin event being hosted in India, the NC Classic 2025 will also help in placing the nation on the international athletics map. Honouring the remarkable achievement of Chopra, whose golden journey continues to inspire millions, the landmark event is a celebration of a movement that shapes the future of Indian sport.


Where to watch Neeraj Chopra Classic 2025? The javelin event will be telecasted on Star Sports 1 Hindi and Star Sports 2, and on JioHotstar as well.

When is Neeraj Chopra Classic 2025 being hosted? July 5 (Saturday), from 7 pm onwards.

Indian athletes to feature in the NC Classic 2025 event: Neeraj Chopra, himself, will feature in the mega event set to take place in Bengaluru on July 5. Along with him, Sachin Yadav, Rohit Yadav, Sahil Silwal, and Yashvir Singh will be the other Indian athletes to make their appearance in Bengaluru.

Thomas Roher from Germany, Julius Yego from Kenya, Curtis Thompson from the USA, Martin Konecny from the Czech Republic, Luiz Mauricio Da Silva from Brazil, Rumesh Pathirage from Sri Lanka, and Cyprian Mrzygold from Poland are the international athletes participating in the event.

Uniting world champions, Olympic medalists and elite throwers from across the globe, this World Athletics Gold level event aims to elevate the standards of track and field in India.

Recently, former world champion and Olympic bronze medallist Anderson Peters of Grenada had withdrawn from the upcoming event due to an ankle injury. Previously, India's Kishore Jena also pulled out of the event due to an ankle injury. The official social media handle of the event shared an update on Peter bowing out due to injury. Taking to X:
