Neeraj Chopra

Neeraj Chopra re-asserted his position as the best javelin thrower in the country by setting a new meet record on his way to the gold medal at the Run Adam Federation Cup Senior National Athletics Championships 2018 here on Tuesday. In his final throw of the competition, Chopra threw the spear 85.94 metres, erasing the old mark of 85.63 metres which was recorded at the same venue last year.
