Malesh Narredu, one of the greatest riders of recent times, wanted to don the riding gear one last time on the concluding day's races at Pune today, but unfortunately for him and his fans, that's unlikely to happen

"Yes, I had planned Hugo as my last ride but the horse has been withdrawn on veterinary grounds," Narredu told MiD DAY.u00a0 The ace rider, who had a very successful career spanning 28 years, during which he rode 1,667 winners, is finally hanging up his boots to begin another career, that of a professional horse trainer.
