Pretoria: Murder accused Oscar Pistorius&rsquo; ex-girlfriend Samantha Taylor told Pretoria&rsquo;s High Court yesterday that the Paralympian had &ldquo;cheated&rdquo; on her with the late Reeva Steenkamp.

Pistorius, who continues to plead not guilty for the intentional killing of his girlfriend Steenkamp on Valentine&rsquo;s Day last year, heard patiently as Taylor even broke down a few times. A tearful Taylor said tat she and Pistorius split in November 2012 after she found out that he &ldquo;cheated&rdquo; on her with Steenkamp.
Taylor said that Pistorius even took the model to a prominent Sports Awards ceremony, while the pair were &ldquo;still in a relationship&rdquo;.
Further, Taylor spoke about Pistorius affinity towards his gun. She said that he always &ldquo;carried it around with him&rdquo; and would even keep it on his bedside table or next to his prosthetic legs on the floor at night.&rdquo; She said the athlete was &ldquo;often worried about intruders breaking into the house.&rdquo;
Pistorius claims he shot at Steenkamp multiple times on the night of Feb 14, 2013 mistaking her to be an intruder.
