Only four runners are in the fray for the Radha Sigtia Trophy, a mile-and-a-half contest for class II horses. Two of them, Raees & Sabiq, have won their last three and two starts respectively. However, their winning spree may be halted today as they face Frosty and Palatial who possess better inherent class. My choice is Palatial, who concedes only one kg to Raees and Sabiq at the scales, and receives three kg from the top-weighted Frosty. To be ridden by A Sandesh, the Cooji Katrak ward in fact attracts as the best betting proposition of the afternoon.
Two other horses that may deserve your betting money are Arctic Whizz in the upper division of the Raza Ali Plate, and Elegant Beauty in the Samuel Nathan Plate.
