India’s female discus thrower Krishna Poonia, created a national record by winning the silver medal at the Altius Track Crew Throwdown meet in Maui Island, Hawaii. Poonia’s 64.76 metres effort helped her surpass Seema Antil’s record of 64.64 metres.
