Sebastian Vettel goes past Ayrton Senna's record with Singapore win

Singapore: Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel put in a controlled drive yesterday to win an eventful Singapore Grand Prix. The German crossed the line 1.4 seconds ahead of Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo with teammate Kimi Raikkonen completing the podium a further 15.6 seconds behind.

Mercedes struggle
World championship leader Lewis Hamilton failed to finish, his first retirement since last year's Belgian Grand Prix. Hamilton's teammate Nico Rosberg trailed home a mammoth 24.7 seconds behind Vettel, capping a weekend of struggle for Mercedes.
