The PRA Independence Million, the feature event of the nine-race card to be run at the Pune monsoon racetrack on the occasion of Independence Day, is notoriously known as a graveyard of fancied horses.

This year may prove no exception, as 18 runners and riders will face the starter for the rich purse and the coveted honours. The winner may emerge fro the quartet of Sentosa Cove, Joss, Vice Admiral and Lord Arazan.
