Australian swimmer Stephanie Rice has lost the sponsorship of Jaguar after she posted an anti-gay tweet on Twitter. Rice, 22, was dumped by the luxury carmaker after former rugby league star Ian Roberts branded her and "anyone who sponsors her" a "complete idiot". Roberts made the comment after the swimmer posted a degrading tweet about the Wallabies' defeat of the Springboks on September 4. "Suck on that f--gots," News.com.au quoted Rice as having tweeted. Rice later apologised and removed the comment, but Jaguar Australia still went ahead and dumped her. "Jaguar Australia today terminated its relationship with Stephanie Rice, who has been an ambassador for the Jaguar brand in Australia since the start of 2010," Jaguar Australia general manager Kevin Goult stated.
