New York: Tennis ace Caroline Wozniacki was greeted at the finish line of Sunday's New York Marathon by friend and World No 1 Serena Williams.

The American was in fact, in tears as her best mate crossed the finish. Williams later tweeted: "Is it normal to cry when someone finished marathon? I'm so proud of you caro @CaroWozniacki."
