Only four runners are in the fray for the Idar Gold Trophy (Gr 3), the prime event of Sunday's eight-race card. The race will be run over mile-and-a-half, a trip that's already established as Temerity's favourite distance thanks to her victories in the Indian Oaks and the Indian Turf Invitation Cup, both Grade 1 races.

And therefore it may not matter if she is returning to the racetrack after six months, or in the fray is Colombiana, a recent winner on this track. Coming from trainer Pesi Shroff's yard, she is bound to be turned in in the best of conditions, and may not have to exert herself much to resume her winning ways. Accordingly, she shapes as the best betting proposition of the card, but the question is what odds will the bookmakers offer on her. If she is quoted at miserly odds, we may have to just ignore this race from the betting point of view.
