Sharrmadaa Baluu went down to qualifier Chloe Paquet in straight sets in the quarter-finals of the USD 25,000 Ganesh Naik ITF Women's Tennis Championships as Indian challenge ended in singles event yesterday.

France's Chloe scored a 6-4, 6-0 win over the Indian wild card entrant in just over a hour at the Navi Mumbai Sports Association in Vashi. Dutch top seed Cindy Burger scrapped past Ukrainian Veronika Kapshay 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.
