A seven-race, day-time card is framed in place of what was originally planned as the inaugural day of 'evening racing' at the Mahalaxmi racetrack this season. The race club has announced the shift of inaugural evening racing to Saturday, January 9.

The grade 3, Bookmakers Association Million is slated as the prime event of the afternoon, and though there are only five runners in the fray for the six-furlong contest, all of them are capable of setting the track ablaze thanks to the quality speed that they possess.
