Turkish boxing referee found dead

A Turkish boxing referee has been found dead in his London hotel room before the Olympic Games officially kick off yesterday.

Bayram Altug, the head of the Turkish Boxing Federation, said a colleague found the 73-year-old Garip Erkuyumcu dead in his bed on Thursday. A heart attack is the suspected cause.
