A competitive and tricky eight-race card is framed for Sunday's evening racing at Mahalaxmi, the feature event being Lions Club International's Centennial Cup. Eight class IV runners have entered the fray to contest the mile-and-a-half trip, and the two prime contenders appear to be Uncle Scrooge and Jager Bomb. Though suitability over the trip will obviously become the most decisive factor, Uncle Scrooge who narrowly lost to owner-mate Severus in last outing is expected to run a bold race, and deserves the first nomination.
Thanks to his current form, Kandinsky, trained by Vishal Gaikwad and to be ridden by Trevor Patel, may be able to humble the pair of Airco and Ice Cube Baby, the Delhi Derby winner who returns to her home circuit now.
