US Open: Andy Murray records 200th major victory, becomes 9th man to do so; Watch

Former US Open champion Andy Murray dispatched Frenchman Corentin Moutet 6-2, 7-5, 6-3 to reach the second round at Flushing Meadows. With this win, he registered 200th major win on Tuesday.

Murray dealt with Moutet's flashy shotmaking throughout the two hours and 58 minutes-long match, having consistently countered the Frenchman's touch with depth. Additionally, the 36-year-old frequently advanced, earning 69 per cent (48/70) of the net points.
