The 24-year-old beauty, who had even warmed up in a signed Gerrard shirt, said that she was "obviously sad" but would go to support the "legend" in action for he had done a lot for the team, the Daily Star reported.
Wozniacki added since he wasn't going to be playing there anymore, she was planning a trip to America to watch him in action if, as expected, he moves to the MLS at the end of the season.
Wozniacki, who was engaged to golf star Rory McIlroy, was speaking after her win against 18-year-old American Taylor Townsend in the first round of the Australian Open.
