On winning the US Open and completing the calendar Grand Slam: &ldquo;Oh, man, I&rsquo;ve won New York three times in a row. I hope this isn&rsquo;t the year that I go down. I want to do well there. We&rsquo;ll see. I&rsquo;ve won three, so that&rsquo;s not bad.&rdquo;
On the end of the match when there was a bizarre pause before result was announced: &ldquo;I didn&rsquo;t hear her (the umpire) say, Game, set, match. So I was just really confused.&rdquo;
On her gown for Sunday&rsquo;s Champions Dinner: &ldquo;I found out the better dresses I bring, I usually win. If I bring a not-so-nice one, I don&rsquo;t win. I brought a really nice one this time.&rdquo;

On staying focused in a big match: &ldquo;Usually I&rsquo;m singing a song in my head. Then if I stop singing it, I usually start losing, then I go back to singing. It&rsquo;s crazy up there. You don&rsquo;t want to be up there.&rdquo;
