World No. 1 tennis ace Aryna Sabalenka gave a glimpse into what to expect from her on court at the upcoming Australian Open (begins on January 18) by winning the Brisbane International in marauding fashion, without dropping a set.

Off the court, there could be a lot happening for her too, it seems.

Following her 6-4, 6-3 triumph over Ukraine’s Marta Kostyuk on Sunday, Sabalenka turned the spotlight on her partner Georgios Frangulis during her victory speech by hinting that their blossoming romance could soon take the next step.

“Thank you to my boyfriend [for his support]. Hopefully soon I’ll call you something else, right?’ the Belarusian said with a laugh, as the amused crown mirrored her reaction.

The camera then cut to her partner, who also wore a broad smile on his face.

Sabalenka, 27, made her relationship with the Brazilian-born Frangulis — founder of the superfood brand Oakberry, which sponsored the F1 team Haas — public in May 2024.

Frangulis has also raced in Brazil’s Porsche 911 GT3 Cup competition.
