WWE Raw saw Goldberg make his return to the show again to respond to Brock Lesnar, Samoa Joe make his Monday Night Raw debut and face Roman Reigns and Cesaro-Sheamus in a tag team title match.
NXT superstar and two-time champion Samoa Joe, who attacked and injured Seth Rollins on WWE Raw's previous episode made his official debut on the show.

Roman Reigns faced faced Samoa Joe in the main event and as the two were brawling, Braun Strowman interrupted the match and distracted Reigns. Samoa Joe then used this to his advantage to defeat Reigns. Braun Strowman then attacked Reigns withthe steel steps.
WWE superstar Goldberg, who defeated Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series last year, returned to reply to Lesnar's challenge at WrestleMania 33. Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho made fun of Goldberg telling him his would not be the main event. Goldberg then demanded Kevin Owens to face him for the Universal title. After Goldberg put himself on 'The List', an enraged Jericho added a Goldberg vs Kevin Owens match at Fastlane for the WWE Universal title. Earlier, Chris Jericho also put American football star Tom Brady on the list after he won the Super Bowl with the New England patriots.
Chris Jericho faced Sami Zayn for the US championship and managed to defeat him with a little help from his buddy Kevin Owens.
Nia Jax faced Bayley in a singles match. After much dominance from Jax all along, Bayley managed to switch things but not before WWE Women's champ Charlotte entered and distracted Bayley. Nia Jax hit the Samoan drop to win the match. Bayley will face Charlotte at WWE Raw next week.
Braun Strowman also faced 4 local wrestlers and defeated them with ease. After th win, he told RAW General Manage Mick Foley that he was coming for him.
