Meet a person with a skill you can use

Kosha Shah, 36 Pottery expert and instructor
>>>
AVAILABLE FOR: booking pottery sessions with friends or significant others
Contact: mitti.space, Instagram

I AM a graphic designer by profession but developed an interest in pottery while trying out other mediums which I could use to channel my creativity. I learned pottery in 2019 and started Mitti in November 2021. In January 2022, I started offering one-time experiences, including dates for couples, in my studio. The idea was to give them an experience different than a movie or eating out,” says Shah. She now hosts her clients at her studio in Khar, where, in a two-hour session, she teaches them basic pottery skills to create items like mugs etc. “Once they settle on what they want to create, we help them in the process. Then, we fire up our kilns and send the finished pieces to them within 25 days,” says Shah, who is already receiving bookings for Valentine’s Day this week.

RECOMMENDED BY: Henal Mehta, 31, Malad resident.  “My husband and I went to Mitti last week to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Kosha was very warm and personally showed us all that we could do with pottery. Both of us made a mug each and it was really a fun experience”
