The science and the stories
The Story Collider’s mission is to reveal the vibrant role that science plays in all of our lives through the art of personal storytelling. People from different walks of life — scientists, doctors, journalists, artists, firefighters, bartenders — tell stories about how science has affected their lives at live events, and a selection of these stories is shared on a weekly podcast which The Washington Post has called “delightful, devastating, and endlessly listenable”. Everyone’s life is connected to science in some way, and that we all have a story to tell about how science has affected our lives. Teaching about life lessons imbibed with science with an engaging narration, this podcast fills the curiosity of every inquiring mind.

Save me from my furry friend
This writer recently bought the eMall anti-bite animal handling gloves for our four-year-old tenacious black cat, Bagheera, aka Buggy, aka the devil incarnate. Since he has no concept of just how much his claws hurt us, and loves rough play, these gloves come in handy, pun intended. They are especially helpful with the additional physical attack we experience when giving him medication periodically. We are very happy that it has worked and would recommend this to anyone who has a boisterous cat.
