My favourite part about Diwali is exchanging gifts. Back home, every year my mother and I handpick the items that’ll go into our Diwali hampers. As I hosted a Diwali party for the first time in the city, I knew my hampers had to be the coolest ones yet. 

Maachis.art became a saviour with an array of premium matches with designs that pay homage to India’s maximalism (think back of a truck on a highway). Maachis.art also offers postcards. I bought a bunch of them and made the party guests leave me a little note, so I could keep the postcards as keepsakes.
