The South Korean tech giant Samsung Electronics introduced its first multi-folding smartphone on December 2. The new model is called the Galaxy Z TriFold. It unfolds into a 10-inch screen using three connected panels.
The company said the final display is almost 25 per cent larger than the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Samsung has priced it at about $2440 (around Rs 2.2 lakh).
The phone is manufactured in South Korea and will be released there on December 12. It will also reach China, Taiwan, Singapore, and the UAE later this year.
A release in the US is planned for early next year, with other regions to follow.
