Micro-blogging platform Twitter apparently shut off its internal communication system of Slack and according to posts by employees on anonymous workplace chat app Blind, it is because they have stopped paying its Slack bills.

Employees also lost access to Jira, a tracking software that allows engineers to ship code and monitor progress on new features.
