Gia Manek became a household name and won millions of hearts with her portrayal of Gopi Bahu in Saath Nibhana Saathiya. The actress has always guarded her private life. Now, she as surprised her fans as she announces wedding with Varunn Jain. For those unaware, Varun was popular for his stint in Diya Aur Baati Hum.
In a collaborative post on Instagram, the couple shared two images from their wedding and made the announcement. The post read, "With the grace of Divine and Master's and with all the love showered, we've stepped into this forever union - hand in hand, heart to heart. We were two friends, today we're husband & wife. So grateful for the love, blessings and wishes from all our loved ones who made this day so special. Cheers to a lifetime of laughter, adventure, memories, and togetherness as Mr. & Mrs. Gia & Varunn."
Their wedding was a simple and intimate affair with only close friends and family in attendance. Gia shared two pictures on her social media in which she could be seen donning a mustard yellow saree with a golden border. She tied her hair in a sleek updo, which was adorned with a beautiful gajra. She completed her look with traditional jewellery. Varunn Jain, on the other hand, wore a yellow kurta pyjama. He lovingly held Gia from behind as they clicked the beautiful pictures.
The wedding came as a pleasant surprise for fans, many of whom flooded the comments section with congratulations and blessings for the newlyweds.
Gia has showcased her acting prowess in shows such as Jeannie Aur Juju and Tera Mera Saath Rahe. In 2012, she participated in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 In 2014, she was also a part of Box Cricket League Season 1.
Gia and Varunn, who were once co-stars (in 'Tera Mera Sath Rahe') and have remained close friends over the years. The show was a reboot version of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya under the tagline Jodi Wahi Kahaani Nayi. It also features Mohammad Nazim, Rupal Patel, Vandana Vithlani, Sumati Singh and Rupesh Kataria.
