According to a Union bank of India report, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) could increase the rates of its key lending rate (repo rate) to 5.75-6 per cent during the second half of FY27, reported news agency IANS.
An excess banking liquidity and rising inflation, amid a strong economic growth may prompt the apex bank to raise its key rate, the report said.
