Sensex, Nifty snap 4-day losing streak on global cues; Sensex soars 362.57 points

The 30-share BSE Sensex advanced 362.57 points, or 0.48 per cent, to settle at 76,515.43. The 50-share NSE Nifty too traded in the positive territory, climbing 24.25 points, or 0.10 per cent, to end at 23,897.70

The domestic equity benchmark indices recovered on Friday to snap their four-day losing streak on positive global cues as concerns over a US Federal Reserve rate hike eased, although the renewed tensions between USA and Iran made investors cautious.

Market movement

The 30-share BSE Sensex advanced 362.57 points, or 0.48 per cent, to settle at 76,515.43. The 50-share NSE Nifty too traded in the positive territory, climbing 24.25 points, or 0.10 per cent, to end at 23,897.70.
