The domestic equity benchmark indices were trading in the negative territory in the early deals on Thursday, mirroring their Asian counterparts, amid rising crude oil prices that crossed USD 110 per barrel.

The 30-share BSE Sensex dropped 464.33 points or 0.63 per cent at 73,245.36 in the early trade. The 50-share NSE Nifty declined 195.60 points or 0.86 per cent at 22,615.75 in the initial trade.
