Set in Delhi amid the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, Jogi sees Diljit Dosanjh’s titular character attempting to flee the capital and take his family to Punjab. Amyra Dastur plays his love interest Kammo in director Ali Abbas Zafar’s venture. For the actor, her character’s fearlessness was a big draw. Dastur says, “Kammo is so bindaas in such a hard world. I related to her more than any other character I’ve played.”
