For Shehnaaz Gill, her life transformed completely after her stint in Bigg Boss 13. While the reality show gave her a national platform, it was her personality that won the hearts of the audience. The actress amassed a massive fan following during her stay in the house, a fan following that stuck to her even years after the show concluded. Today, Shehnaaz is a star. As she turns 29 on January 27, 2023, we look at her professional journey post Bigg Boss 13.
Bigg Boss 13 concluded in February 2020. While she did not win the show, she won millions of hearts which continue to beat for her even today. When she first appeared on the show, she introduced herself as 'Punjab Ki Katrina Kaif'. Today she calls herself- 'India ki Shehnaaz Gill'.

After the show, Shehnaaz worked on herself and amazed all with her stunning physical transformation. Her fashion and style choices changed drastically as well. Soon after Bigg Boss 13 concluded, she appeared in a reality show called 'Mujhse Shaadi Karoge' where she and Paras Chhabra set out to find partners for themselves. The show hosted by Gautam Gulati came to an end in just a month because of the pandemic.
Gill then went on to appear in a number of music videos including 'Bhula Dunga', 'Keh Gayi Sorry', 'Kurta Pajama', 'Waada Hai', 'Shona Shona'and 'Fly', among others.
In the year 2021, Gill appeared in the Punjabi film 'Honsla Rakh' which also starred Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa. The actress is now gearing up for the release of her first Bollywood film, 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan'. The teaser of the film starring Salman Khan in the lead was released this week. Shehnaaz was seen in South Indian attire in the teaser and fans could not stop cheering for her on social media. Directed by Farhad Samji, the film also stars Venkatesh, Pooja Hegde, Raghav Juyal, Jassie Gill, Jagapathi Babu, Bhagyashree, Bhumika Chawla, among others. The film is scheduled for an Eid 2023 release.
In 2022, Gill also commenced her first chat show named 'Desi Vibes with Shehnaaz Gill'. So far she hosted Bollywood celebrities like Rajkummar Rao, Vicky Kaushal, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Rakul Preet Singh on her show.
Meanwhile, Gill also faced a tough time in her personal life after the show. She formed a close bond with fellow contestant Sidharth Shukla. While fans shipped them as a couple, the two publicly maintained that they are friends and treat each other like family. However, Sidharth Shukla's demise in 2021 shattered Shehnaaz. The actress stayed away from public glare for a long time before resuming work. Time and again, Gill took to opportunity on the public stage to remember Shukla and share fond memories with him.
