The much-awaited trailer for Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri-starrer Dhadak 2 is finally out. As earlier revealed, the film introduces audiences to a searing, emotionally charged love story that essentially fights back against the caste divide. Helmed by debutant director Shazia Iqbal, the film promises to be a bold and necessary exploration of love that has the courage to exist in the face of identity and power.

Siddhant Chaturvedi portrays the character of Neelesh, while Triptii Dimri stars as Vidhi. The two come from two different worlds as their connection is filled with longing, defiance, and vulnerability. The trailer shows their haunting journey while the story is filled with emotional tension and resilience. The two display a raw and compelling chemistry that is elevated by quiet moments of courage rather than grand gestures of love.

One of the highlights of the film is the music, which stands out beautifully in sync with the film’s powerful storytelling. The music enhances the entire mood without overpowering it. Interestingly, much like its predecessor, which featured Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter, Dhadak 2 carries forward the legacy of soulful music. For the unversed, 2018's Dhadak, too, was full of heartfelt melodies with songs like the Dhadak title track and Pehli Baar.
