Punjabi singer Jasmine Sandlas recently opened up about her first menstruation experience, revealing that a lack of awareness about periods left her extremely scared as a young girl. The singer, who gained popularity with songs like ‘Jaye Sajana’ from the Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar 2, shared that she once feared she had a serious illness when she got her first period.

During a conversation with Hauterrfly, Jasmine Sandlas spoke about how menstruation was never openly discussed at home before she reached puberty. Although she later learned about periods through school, she admitted that the information was not enough to prepare her for the actual experience.
