Farah Khan, a filmmaker and choreographer, has also emerged as a popular YouTuber in recent years. Her celebrity culinary vlogs have gotten increasingly popular in recent years. The popularity of her cook, Dilip, who appears as a 'co-star' in the majority of the movies, has also contributed to the video's success. Farah has now told her supporters that someone is impersonating Dilip on social media, and she has also warned the imposter.

Farah warns the imposter

Farah took to Instagram Stories on Sunday morning to share a screenshot of an account named Dilip. The account, which has more than 50,000 followers, identified itself as a blogger and even mentioned Farah. The filmmaker added, "This is a fake account, and we are complaining." Farah then tagged the account in question, adding, "You better take it down."

At the time Farah tweeted the screenshot, the account had 244 posts, with several Reels receiving over 100k views. The majority of these videos used snippets from Farah and Dilip's vlogs. However, within minutes of Farah's posts, the account altered its name and display image while simultaneously deleting or archiving all of the posts. Currently, the account name is A1 Blogger, and there are no postings.

Interestingly, there are several other Instagram profiles claiming to be Dilip, but none of them have even a hundred followers. Their reach is small.

Farah talks about how she found Dilip

In a recent vlog that included Ajay Devgn, Farah remembered an amazing incident about how she discovered Dilip. "Do you know how I found him? Oh, my God. She informed Ajay, "I have to tell you this story. He was outside your house. How could I have forgotten this? He was hanging near your bungalow. This was approximately 12-13 years ago."

Farah started her culinary vlogs with Dilip in 2024. The vlogs, which combined her typical wit and humour with Dilip's vivacious personality, immediately gained popularity on social media. In these episodes, Farah and Dilip visit celebrity houses and make basic, homestyle cuisine while engaging in amusing banter and candid chats.

Farah and Dilip recently went to the Maldives, where the cook flaunted his new hair makeover. He was seen nailing the blonde look while Farah enjoyed the vacay.
