Ayan Mukerji's ambitious project, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani completed 10 years on May 31 this year. Revolving around the lives of four friends-Bunny (Ranbir Kapoor), Naina (Deepika Padukone), Aditi (Kalki Koechlin) and Avi (Aditya Roy Kapur), the film was successful at the box office. On Flashback Friday, here's revisiting the reunion of the cast on its 10th anniversary.

On May 31, Ranbir, Deepika, Aditya and Kalki reunited to celebrate 10 years of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani with Ayan. Producer Karan Johar, designer Manish Malhotra actor Kunaal Roy Kapur and producer Siddharth Roy Kapur were also at the bash.

Deepika wore a black dress for the reunion and looked stunning as always. Ranbir was dressed in a black shirt. Aditya was in a maroon shirt and Kalki looked lovely in a black and white dress.

Earlier this year, Ranbir hosted a virtual interaction with his fans and spoke about the possibility of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani's sequel. "I think Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani would make a good sequel. Ayan also had a very nice story, I remember, but then he went into this Brahmastra journey. But, never say never. He might make it after a couple of years," he said.

The actor added, "I think the story will be 10 years forward where Bunny, Naina, Avi and Aditi, where they are in their lives. I think it’ll be quite interesting and nice to explore those characters."

Ayan penned a note on the 10th anniversary of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. He wrote, "YJHD - My second child, a piece of my heart and soul - 10 years old today! I think after all these years, I can confidently say that…Making this movie was one of the greatest joys of my life! And what we achieved with it - with all its perfections and imperfections - is a source of great eternal pride for me! Strangely, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani fully from beginning to end, since the day it released …(Always pushing towards the next milestone, and not looking back enough…!) But when I’m older and wiser - I think I will watch the movie atleast once a year - because a big part of who I was and how I looked at life - is forever captured in this movie! In the recent months, I have often had people recognise me and come up to me… and I’m thinking they will say something about Brahmāstra, and then they started talking about YJHD! So, putting out a whole lot of gratitude for Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani… and all the many people who connected deeply with the movie over the years! Also sharing a Director’s Note I had written at the time, in my story which someone special from my team shared with me a few days ago… and it brought back all kinds of memories for me! Yup :) (sic)."
