Vicky Kaushal is balancing Love & War with prep for Amar Kaushik’s Mahavatar. He has set aside 18 months, including six months of intense training, to play Parashurama. The film is set to go on floors in January 2027

Actor Vicky Kaushal is lining up two ambitious projects, with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War set to roll into a crucial 50-day schedule this month. Amid this, the actor is reportedly preparing for Stree (2018) director, Amar Kaushik’s next, the mythological epic Mahavatar. According to reports, he has “set aside 18 months” for the film, undergoing an “intensive six-month preparation phase” involving physical transformation and workshops. Vicky will portray Chiranjeevi Parashurama, with filming slated to begin in January 2027. The makers aim for a year-long shoot, wrapping by December 2027.
