Actor Yami Gautam Dhar unveiled the trailer of her upcoming film Haq in Mumbai on Monday, October 27. The film is inspired by the Supreme Court’s landmark Shah Bano case judgment. Addressing questions about being labelled a “nationalist” for her film choices, Yami said, “People will always have something to say. Earlier I was called ‘underrated’, now it’s something else. It keeps shifting. I don’t really understand all that.” She added that she is guided by instinct and chooses stories that “have their own identity and importance.” Yami emphasised that only her audience’s opinion matters. She added, “The audience has never said anything like that to me. I’ve always been in their service.” The film releases on November 7.
