It was truly a Kodak moment when yesteryear actresses Saira Banu, Hema Malini, and Rekha reunited at Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan-Nupur Shikhare's wedding reception on Saturday. The icons exchanged warm greetings when they bumped into each other on the red carpet. They also happily posed together for the pictures.
While Rekha and Hema Malini were dressed up in beautiful sarees, Saira Banu opted for a blue suit. The pictures of the trio quickly surfaced online, leaving fans elated. Now the dream girl Hema Malini herself took to Instagram and dropped a few pictures from Ira Khan and Nupur Sikhare’s reception.

While dropping the pictures, Hema wrote, “Attended the wedding of Aamir and Reena's daughter, Ira with Nupur last evening. It was a glittering event and it was wonderful catching up with Rekha and especially Saira Banu Ji after a long time.”
The first picture shows Hema Malini and Esha Deol posing with the newlyweds on the stage. Aamir and Reena are also visible in the frame. In another picture, the dream girl is seen posing with south superstar Surya and Juhi Chawla. A separate picture features the iconic Saira Banu and Rekha.
Among other celebs who graced the Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare reception included Aamir's 'Lagaan' director Ashutosh Gowariker, Aamir's 'Laal Singh Chaddha' co-star Naga Chaitanya, his 'Dil Chahta Hai' director Farhan Akhtar (with wife and actor Shibani Dandekar).
Sharman Joshi, Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia Deshmukh, Anil Kapoor, AR Rahman, Manoj Joshi, Jaaved Jaffrey, and Dilip Joshi have also attended the post-wedding bash of Ira and Nupur. Superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan also attended the wedding reception. Politicians like Raj Thackeray, Aditya Thackeray and Smriti Irani were also present at the reception. Nita and Mukesh Ambani also graced the wedding reception.
Speaking of the hosts, Aamir Khan and his family members were all dressed to the nines. Ira's cousin and actor Imran Khan also marked his presence at the function. The whole Khan family posed on the red carpet. However, Aamir's ex-wife Kiran Rao was not present. Talking about her, Aamir was seen informing the paps that Kiran was feeling unwell and hence could not make it.
Ira and Nupur recently tied the knot as per Christian rituals in Udaipur. Prior to it, Ira and Nupursolemnized their relationship via a registered marriage at Taj Lands End, Bandra in Mumbai on January 3.
