Kantara mimicry row: Ranveer Singh agrees to revise apology after complainant flags lack of remorse

Bollywood star Ranveer Singh is currently embroiled in a case being heard by the Karnataka High Court regarding the Kantara mimicry row. The actor was asked to issue an apology in the previous hearing and submitted an affidavit of the same. However, he was asked to rework on the apology after the complainant made an presented an arguement over the same. On Friday, the Dhurandhar star told the Karnataka High Court that he is willing to work with the complainant to revise the wording of his apology affidavit. The statement came after the complainant argued that the actor’s affidavit did not show genuine remorse.

Ranveer Singh to reword his apology

The court was hearing Singh’s petition seeking to quash an FIR registered against him over the incident, which took place during the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) held in Goa last year.
