Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander: My friends and I believed that this film was made specially for us we could relate to everything in this film. We suddenly saw a new wave of filmmaking, leaving behind drama. These were characters who spoke like normal people and were instantly identifiable.
Sholay: I remember mouthing Gabbar Singh and Thakur's dialogues as a child and entertaining my entire family. Sholay was a complete package of entertainment that had everything just right.
