TV actor Shilpa Shinde recently sparked a controversy after she confessed that she had falsely filed a sexual harassment case against Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain producer Sanjay Kohli back in 2017. Following the confession, the actress has received a lot of backlash, with a men's NGO even demanding legal action against her. Amid this, actor Pooja Bedi has also reacted strongly to the matter.

Speaking to Variety India, Pooja Bedi said, “Any woman who weaponises laws meant to protect victims, be it for revenge, personal gain, leverage, publicity, or malice, is betraying the very cause those laws were created to serve. False accusations not only destroy innocent lives but also make it harder for genuine survivors to be believed. Such misuse of the law is unacceptable and must carry serious consequences."
