Rakul Preet Singh took to social media to express her frustration with Mumbai traffic. The actress was taken aback by the intensity of traffic on Wednesday night as she travelled through the city. She was surprised that her vehicle did not move an inch for an hour.

On Wednesday night, Rakul shared a picture of the traffic she was stuck in on her Instagram Stories. A long line of vehicles could be seen in front of her car, all waiting for the road to clear. Clearly frustrated, Rakul wrote, "Never been stuck in such a traffic jam in my life... what's happening, Mumbai? One hour and we haven't moved an inch."

Rakul's serene moment

Hours before the traffic ordeal, Rakul was having a peaceful, serene moment. She posted a video of herself walking barefoot in a garden, promoting the practice of grounding. She encouraged everyone to reconnect with nature and experience its healing benefits at least once a week. Sharing the calming video on Instagram Stories, the Thank God actress urged her followers to try the same.

She wrote, "Grounding or walking barefoot has many, many benefits... try and find yourself a garden to do so at least once a week. #ConnectWithNature."

Rakul's work front

Work-wise, the 34-year-old actress was last seen in the Mere Husband Ki Biwi along with Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar. The film was released in theatres in February this year but failed to make an impact.

She will next be seen in the upcoming romantic comedy De De Pyaar De 2, the sequel to the 2019 box office hit. She will reprise her role as Ayesha Khurana, with Ajay Devgn returning as Ashish Mehra. R. Madhavan joins the cast as Dev Khurana, Ayesha’s father. Ajay and R Madhavan had previously shared screen in the 2024 film Shaitaan, a horror drama based on superstition.

Directed by Anshul Sharma, the film brings back familiar faces including Tabu, Jimmy Shergill, Alok Nath, and Inayat Sood from the original. Additionally, Tamannaah Bhatia and Prakash Raj will appear in special cameo roles.

De De Pyaar De 2 is slated for release on November 14.
