Seems like Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's new home is ready just in time for Diwali, and the couple is set to move into the mansion. It is no news that the power couple has built a lavish mansion in one of Mumbai's plushest neighbourhoods, Bandra West. Now, the couple shared the news with the media via a special note.

Alia and Ranbir to move into their new home

With Diwali 2025 almost here, Alia and Ranbir, along with their daughter Raha, are excited to start this new chapter. The family of three is allegedly preparing to move into their new home, reportedly named the Krishna Raj mansion.

The couple recently shared a heartfelt message with the media, requesting privacy. In the note surfacing online, Alia and Ranbir wished their media friends a Happy Diwali and wrote, "Dear Friends in the media, Diwali is all about gratitude and new beginnings. As we move into our new home, we are thankful for all the warmth and support you've show us and we hope we can continue to rely on your consideration for our privacy and that of our family, home and wonderful neighbours. Sending you and your family all our love this festive season. Happy Diwali! Alia and Ranbir.''

Ranbir and Alia's new home

The house, reportedly valued at Rs 250 crore, is believed to be registered in their daughter Raha's name. The house, which has been widely discussed on social media, has been under construction for years and has occasionally made headlines ever since.

Ranbir, Alia, as well as veteran actress and Ranbir's mom, Neetu Kapoor, have often been spotted visiting the property to oversee the construction work. Recently, the actors were seen visiting the house before finally moving in and starting their new life.

Notably, in August, a video of their newly built Mumbai home had gone viral. The video revealed the scenic view of the couple's six-story building. Strongly condemning the viral video, Alia had urged everyone to take down the video. "I understand that in a city like Mumbai, space is limited – sometimes the view from your window is another person’s home. But that does not give anyone the right to film private residences and push those videos online. A video of our home – still under construction – has been recorded and circulated by multiple publications, without our knowledge or consent. This is a clear invasion of privacy and a serious security issue. Filming or photographing someone’s personal space without permission is not 'content' – it’s a violation. It should never be normalised," she wrote.
