Bollywood actors Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha are all set to tie the knot. After dating for a couple of years, the two will be turning husband and wife. They will be tying the knot in Delhi in the presence of family and friends. Their week-long wedding celebrations begin in Delhi on Thursday, September 29. On Wednesday morning, the couple was seen at the Mumbai airport as they headed to their wedding destination. Ahead of their wedding celebrations, here's everything we know about the grand union.
Ahead of their wedding, the couple took to their social media handle to share an audio message announcing their wedding. "Two years ago we formalised our union and just then the pandemic hit us all. Pressed pause on all our celebrations and life. Like the rest of the nation, we too were struck by personal tragedies one after the other And now, as we all enjoy this window of respite, we are finally celebrating with our families and friends and are so very touched and grateful for all the blessings that are coming our way," they said.

The celebrations are set to take place starting today and tomorrow in two different venues across Delhi. Richa who was born in Amritsar and was raised in Delhi, has a special connect to the city having grown up there. The wedding will have all elements that are unique to the couple celebrating their favourite food, inspired decor elements amongst other things
The pre-wedding functions will have Richa adorn outfits custom made by Kresha Bajaj and Rahul Mishra and Ali will be seen in a elegant dapper outfits by Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla and Shantanu Nikhil
As for food, the food has been curated in a fun iconic way as an homage to Richa’s favourite dishes from across Delhi including Rajouri Garden ke Choley Bhature to Natraj Ki Chaat. Such intricate details have been kept in mind while curating unique food experiences
One of the venues is Richa’s friends home sprawling laws where she will have her mehendi and sangeet. The place has a value of nostalgia as it’s close to where she studied. The decor will be heavily inspired by nature with elements including wood, florals, jute etc reflecting both the actors love for nature.

The couple is expected to have wedding celebrations and functions in Delhi and Mumbai, with a special party also planned in Delhi post the wedding in mid-October at the iconic Delhi Gymkhana Club.
