The aviation woes continue to soar. Bollywood actress Richa Chadha took to her Instagram to post about a massive delay, she incurred due to a flight's complacency. On January 16, Bollywood actress Richa Chadha took to 'X' (formerly Twitter) to bring to attention an unfortunate pickle she found herself in for 3 days straight. The actress said, "On my 3rd flight in 3 days… day 1, @IndiGo6E delayed by over 4 hours. Day 2, @IndiGo6E delayed by 4 hours. But the only direct flights on some routes are often Indigo. Day 3, international flight, no problem."

She continued, "On the 14th of Jan, there was an air show in Mumbai, because of which the runway was closed in the morning. And then fog/smog in North India - Delhi runway closed. Ripple effect? Flights delayed all over the country, staff overextended. I am surprised only one person got physically assaulted because tempers were running very high (I don’t condone violence)."

"Lesson: Monopoly - whether airlines, airport ownership or leadership - creates lack of accountability. Common citizens suffer, with no recourse. Till we don’t recognise it, we will be at a disadvantage while paying through our noses. And if we don’t wake up, we deserve it 💋haina ?" She concluded her statement.

Radhika Apte gets locked in an aerobridge due to flight delay

This comes after loads of passengers have been complaining about mass delays and the blatant complecancy of the airline. On January 13, Radhika Apte took to her Instagram to inform her audience of a not-so-pleasant situation that occurred to her. The actress was all set to travel and board her flight at 8:30 in the morning when things took a turn for the worse. The actress shared, "I had to post this! Today morning I had an flight at 8:30. It’s 10:50 now and the flight has still not boarded."

The actress informed that the airline had said that they would all be boarding but then changed their mind only to lock the aerobridge. She said, "BUT the flight said we were boarding and put all the passengers in the aerobridge and LOCKED IT! The passengers with small babies, elderly people have been locked in for over an hour. The security won’t open the doors. The staff has ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE! Apparently their crew hasn’t boarded."

Elaborating on the issue of the crew, Radhika Apte said, "The crew had the change and they are still waiting for new crew but they have no idea of when they will arrive so no one knows how long they’ll be locked inside. I managed to escaped briefly to speak to the very stupid staff woman outside who kept saying there is no issue and no delay :) now I’m locked inside. AND they just told us that we will be here till minimum 12pm, all locked in. No water no loo. Thanks for the fun ride!!"
