Sara Ali Khan is currently basking in the success of her recently released film 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke'. During the promotional tour of the film across India, the young actress was asked about the qualities she looks for in a partner. In the film, Sara plays the role of a middle-class wife who is seeking divorce from her husband played by Vicky Kaushal.

In a recent interview, Sara Ali Khan was asked if she would ever marry a cricketer. The actress has been linked to cricketer Shubman Gill in recent times after the two were spotted having dinner together. The 'Love Aaj Kal' star has neither confirmed nor denied the dating rumours. So when she was asked if she would follow the footsteps of her grandmother Sharmila Tagore and marry a cricketer, she said, "I think that the kind of person that I am, to find somebody it doesn’t matter what they do — actor, cricketer, businessman, doctor… Maybe not doctors, they will run away."

"But you know the truth is that jokes apart, you will need to match me on the mental and intellectual level. And if you can do that, I think it’s great, wow but I think that would matter to me much, much more," she said during an interview with India Today.

Sara was further asked if anyone from the current Indian team has caught her attention. She said, "I’ll be honest with you, I think and I can say this with almost surety, I think the person I am going to be with in my life I have not met so far. I really don’t think so."

Meanwhile, talking about all the love that she is receiving for the film, she said, "I feel happy that people are giving love to the film. I had come to watch the film with my mother and brother on Sunday and they both cried during the film. Watching my mother and brother cry during my film, I genuinely felt that this is why we make films - to see people we care about have an emotional experience."

"Mom hamesha se filmi rahi hai (My mother is an actress and is always filmi) but Ibrahim is a 22-year-old urban youth, and if he could cry, I can say that this is not just a rural Indore story. It will connect to everyone. When I saw my mom and brother both cry together while watching the film, I felt good," she said.
